Washington: Donald Trump has won the US presidential election. He was elected America’s 47th President. Days before he was re-elected to a second term as president, many people expressed their anger against him on social media. However, some women have chosen a unique form of protest to express their pain and disappointment over President-elect Trump’s victory.
According to a report in The Telegraph, many women have vowed to go on a sex strike following Trump’s election victory, fearing its impact on abortion rights and women’s safety. This unusual protest is inspired by the Korean feminist “4B Movement,” which advocates depriving men of sex in order to redefine the balance of power between the genders.

What is 4B Movement?
The “4B” movement emerged in 2019 in South Korea – where women took a new approach to fighting patriarchy by vowing to “stay away from men” and refusing to be part of heterosexual relationships. His supporters advocate four “don’ts” – no sex (biseksu), no dating (byeonae), no marriage (bihon) and no children with men (biculsan) – for the next four years until Trump is in office.
Why is the “4B” movement spreading in America?
The “4B” movement emerged as a result of gender-based violence in South Korea, with women emphasizing that protest would reduce the country’s birth rate and gradually depopulate the population. This movement spread like wildfire across social media and women decided to end romantic relationships with men.
Trump’s victory has sparked fears about restrictions on women’s reproductive rights and other protections. Vice President Kamala Harris also claimed during the campaign that Trump wanted to impose many restrictions on women and abolish abortion completely. Trump has also been repeatedly accused of making offensive comments about women.
