According to sources, more than 1,000 units of luxury cars are estimated to be sold between Dhanteras (October 29) and Bhai Dooj (November 3). Automakers and market experts have claimed to have sold luxury vehicles worth more than Rs 1,000 crore during this period.
According to experts, due to high demand and booking, more than 1000 cars will be delivered, the average price of which will be Rs 1 crore. The total price of these cars will be around Rs 1000 Crore.
The market for high-end luxury cars is also hot
Many manufacturers including Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Volvo, Porsche, Land Rover and Lamborghini sell luxury cars in India. The price of these cars ranges from Rs 45,000 to Rs 2.5 crore. On the other hand, if we talk about annual sales, about 47,000 units of luxury cars are sold in the country every year.
India also has a high-end luxury car segment, which includes cars from companies like Aston Martin, Bentley, Rolls Royce and Land Rover, priced at Rs 5 crore or more. However, there is no data on sales of high-end luxury cars.
Good sales in Dhanteras
According to sources, luxury car sales were at their best in Dhanteras this year. This year, BMW, Audi and Mercedes aggressively launched new cars that were well received by customers. At the same time, the companies also significantly improved their sales and service networks, which meant that new customers had better contact with the company. There has been a 10% growth in luxury car sales this year compared to last Dhanteras.
