New Delhi. Team India A scored a huge success in the Emerging Asia Cup by defeating Pakistan A. In their first match, the Indian team led by Tilak Verma defeated Pakistan by 7 runs in the last over. Pakistan needed 17 runs in the last over to win. He had four wickets left but fast bowler Anshul Kamboj, who played the last game for India, created panic in the Pakistan camp by taking a wicket on the first ball. Abbas Afridi scored 18 runs off 9 balls. For India A, pacer Anshul Kamboj took a maximum of three wickets while Rasikh Salam and Nishant Sindhu took two wickets each.

India A scored 183 runs
Earlier, the Indian A team, batting first, scored 183 for 8 wickets. Captain Tilak Verma scored maximum 44 runs while opener Prabhsimran Singh scored a quick 36 runs in 19 balls. Nehal Vadhera was eliminated after 25 runs. Opener Abhishek Sharma scored 35 runs off 22 balls. Tilak hit two fours and two sixes in 35 balls. For Pakistan, Sufiyan Muqeem took a maximum of two wickets.

India in second place
With this win, India are in second place in the A points table of Group B with 2 points. UAE also have two points from one game but are in first place. In fact, UAE’s net run rate is better than India’s. India A’s run rate is 0.350 while UAE’s net run rate is 0.378.
