New Delhi. The elder brother of Indian cricket team opener Yashasvi Jaiswal also made his first-class debut. In the recent Ranji Trophy, he played for Tripura and scored a brilliant half-century in his third game and played an important role in leading the team to a big result. Yashasvi congratulated his brother on his huge success by posting on social media.
Yashasvi Jaiswal praised his elder brother Tejashwi after his maiden first-class fifty. Yashasvi’s Instagram story caught the attention of users and many fans came to know that both brothers are professional cricketers. The 27-year-old Tejashwi made his domestic cricket debut for Tripura in the second round of this season’s Ranji Trophy.
Tejashwi, batting at number 3 in his debut match, scored 13 runs in 6 balls and hit three fours. In the second game against Mumbai, Tejashwi played 19 balls but could only score 4 runs. Playing at number 3 against Baroda, Tejashwi scored a brilliant 82 runs off 159 balls. Although he missed his maiden century, he hit twelve fours and a brilliant six during the innings.
