An appeal has been made to the court that he should be exempted from appearing in the Delhi Police case. This is because his identity was revealed by the FBI. His life is in danger.

In fact, an FIR was registered against Vikas Yadav by the US Department of Justice in December last year. He was made a co-conspirator under CC-1 in the conspiracy to murder Gurpatwant Singh Pannu. Just a month before the FBI’s action, Delhi Police arrested Vikas Yadav on kidnapping and extortion charges. After spending four months in prison, he was granted bail. The American FBI has put Vikas Yadav on the wanted list. US police allege that Vikas Yadav worked in the Indian government’s Cabinet Secretariat, part of the Indian Prime Minister’s Office. The Indian Ministry of External Affairs has already clarified that Vikas Yadav is no longer an employee of the Indian government.

Vikas accused Delhi Police of implicating him in a false case and said his life was in danger. This is because his photos and home address are in the public domain. Vikas told the court that he could not attend the hearing even through video conferencing due to threats. This is because there is a possibility that their location can be tracked. Yadav’s application was filed in a Delhi court on Saturday and the court accepted his application.
