The state govt is undertaking several initiatives, including the development of a web-based e-mobility dashboard and a mobile app for the EV Accelerator Cell.
Invest UP, the nodal agency responsible for tracking investments in the state, has assigned the task to Uttar Pradesh Development Systems Corporation Ltd (UPDESCO) to enhance the state’s e-mobility efforts.
The project will be executed by one of the empanelled agencies within UPDESCO, with a completion timeline of 90 days from the work allocation.
The process of selecting an agency and assigning the work has already commenced.
The upcoming web-based e-mobility dashboard and mobile app will feature advanced capabilities such as improved data visibility, enhanced monitoring, effective management, transparency, and public engagement. The initiative will also integrate information from the transport, urban development, power corporation, housing department, and UPEIDA to build a comprehensive database.
The project will include a proposed dashboard offering a centralised platform for monitoring and managing electric vehicle (EV) registrations across the state. The Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) is committed to promoting cleaner and more sustainable transportation options, and the establishment of the EV Accelerator Cell will oversee and implement e-mobility initiatives in Uttar Pradesh.
Invest UP has proposed the creation of a ‘UP E-Mobility Dashboard‘ designed to monitor, manage, and plan EV operations throughout the state, while also fostering widespread EV adoption and setting a national benchmark. This dashboard will be a crucial tool for the Uttar Pradesh govt to oversee, manage, and promote electric vehicles, reflecting the state’s commitment to a cleaner and more sustainable transportation future.
The e-mobility dashboard will be tailored for use by relevant departments and Invest UP officials, providing them with tools to track, manage, and assess the deployment of EVs and charging stations throughout Uttar Pradesh. This initiative aims to promote e-mobility, reduce carbon emissions, and conserve fossil fuels.
The dashboard and app will be equipped with features such as an interactive map, vehicle registration management, data analytics and reporting, charging station details, EV purchase incentive disbursement, battery swapping station information, user management, and a public dashboard. These features will support the sustainable growth of the e-mobility sector by offering a comprehensive platform for disseminating policy information, enhancing resource allocation, and promoting transparency.
