New Delhi. Bajaj Auto is preparing to launch a new motorcycle in the 125cc segment. With this new bike, the company is gearing up to challenge TVS Raider and Hero Xtreme 125R, which are expanding rapidly in the premium 125cc bike segment. According to some media reports, the company is preparing to launch the new model of its best-selling Pulsar Pulsar N125.

The company has set the launch date of this bike as October 16th. Currently, the company has not revealed the model but the bike is believed to be a Pulsar N125. From the leaked images it is already clear that this bike from the company will be sporty, agile and stylish. The company currently sells Pulsar 125 Standard and Pulsar NS 125 in the Pulsar range. With the introduction of the new motorcycle in the Pulsar N range, the company now has three 125cc models. Pulsar N125 will have a sporty design and will primarily appeal to young customers.

ABS can be found in the bike
The Bajaj Pulsar N125 can be a top-notch commuter. The spy images reveal that the motorcycle will feature a muscular-looking tank extension, a split seat and a two-piece grab handle. It will also get LED headlights and LED taillights. To compete with the premium bikes already present in this segment, the company can also offer advanced features like ABS brakes on this bike. However, the bike is expected to come with single-channel ABS.

The engine will be powerful
The new Pulsar N125 is expected to get the same 125cc single-cylinder engine as the existing Pulsar 125. However, the engine can be modified to give the motorcycle a sporty character. The engine is paired with a 5-speed gearbox. The ex-showroom price of this motorcycle can range from Rs 90,000 to Rs 1 lakh.

The braking equipment can consist of a disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the rear. It is believed that Bajaj could also offer rear disc brakes on the single-channel ABS variant. For the suspension, telescopic forks are provided at the front and a monoshock device at the rear. Speaking of features, there is a digital console with smartphone connectivity and Bluetooth.
