New Delhi. The Indian women’s team registered a spectacular win against New Zealand in the third ODI. Hosts India defeated the visiting team by 6 wickets. Vice-captain Smriti Mandhana doubled the joy of India’s victory by scoring a century. Captain Harmanpeet Kaur also reached fifty. With this, India won the three-match series 2-1. India defeated New Zealand by 59 runs in the first match of the series. New Zealand won the second game by 76 runs.
The third ODI match between the Indian women’s team and the New Zealand women’s team was played in Ahmedabad on Tuesday. Indian bowlers performed brilliantly and defeated New Zealand by 232 runs. For New Zealand, Brook Halliday played a beautiful innings of 86 runs off 96 balls. Georgia Plimmer also scored 39 runs. Apart from these two, no other New Zealand batsman could trouble the Indian bowlers. Talking about Indian bowlers, all-rounder Deepti Sharma took a maximum of three wickets. Priya Mishra took two wickets and Renuka Singh and Saima Thakor took one wicket each.

Smriti Mandhana and Harmanpreet Kaur took Team India to 209 runs with a score of 92 for 2 wickets. Mandhana lost her wicket at this score but by then the team’s victory was already assured. The Indian men’s team lost the Test series
Cricket lovers know that not only the New Zealand women’s team but also the men’s team is currently on tour to India. Captained by Tom Latham, the men’s team defeated the Indian men’s team led by Rohit Sharma in the first two Test matches. This is the first time he has set a Test series winning record in India. On the other hand, the Indian women’s team won the ODI series from New Zealand.
