New Delhi. Indian spin bowlers Washington Sundar and R Ashwin took all ten of New Zealand’s wickets on the first day of the Pune Test match. This wicket is helpful for spin. The Indian team has now come out to bat. New Zealand assistant coach Luke Ronchi says his bowlers will attack India’s batsmen using the same formula. Ashwin and Sundar planned variations in the pace of bowling, which saw the New Zealand team, which looked in a very strong position after scoring 197 runs for three wickets, bowled out for 259 runs. Ronchi said the pitch at the MCA Stadium did not offer as much spin as expected but it will be important for New Zealand to keep their bowling strong against the Indian batsmen.
