New Delhi. Car manufacturer MG Motor has announced a big gift to the players who won silver and bronze medals for India at the 2024 Olympics. These players were gifted a new electric vehicle, MG Windsor, by the company. This is India’s first smart CUV that has sparked a new revolution in the country’s electric car market.
At the 2024 Olympics, Indian athletes won medals by excelling in various sports such as javelin throwing, pistol and rifle shooting, wrestling and hockey. During a special event organized in Chandigarh to celebrate the achievements of these Olympians, MG Motor representatives handed over the keys of MG Windsor to them.

The aim of this event was to recognize the players’ indomitable courage, hard work and outstanding performance. MG Motor India believes that these athletes have served as an inspiration to generations to come. The company gifted the new Windsor EV to a total of 25 players, including Neeraj Chopra, Manu Bhaker, Sarabjot Singh, Swapnil Kusale and Aman Sherawat. Vinesh Phogat was the only player to receive this expensive gift even without a medal.
MG Windsor: Revolution in the Indian market
MG Windsor is considered a new beginning in the Indian electric vehicle market. The starting price ex-showroom is Rs 9.99 lakh. Windsor EV was introduced in battery and non-battery subscription models.
If you drive 50,000 km in this electric vehicle, you will also have to pay Rs 3.5 lakh for battery rental along with the car price. With its cutting-edge technology and intelligent features, this CUV not only increases environmental awareness but also offers customers a great driving experience.
