New Delhi. Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman and Union Minister Mohsin Naqvi has assured to quickly issue visas to Indian fans who want to come to their country to watch the ICC Champions Trophy matches next year. He gave this assurance at a meeting with a group of Sikh pilgrims from America.
Naqvi said PCB is confident that a large number of Indian cricket lovers will visit Pakistan to watch the Champions Trophy matches. He wants Indian fans to come to Pakistan and watch the match between these two countries in Lahore. “We will keep a special allotment of tickets for Indian fans and take appropriate steps to issue visas as soon as possible,” Naqvi was quoted as saying by a newspaper.

Pakistan will host the Champions Trophy in February and March next year but the International Cricket Council (ICC) has not released its schedule yet as it wants confirmation that the Indian government will allow its team to take part in the competition or not?
We tell you that BCCI has already stated that it will not send the Indian team to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy. India has asked for a neutral venue. India’s matches in the 2023 ODI Asia Cup were also played in the hybrid model in Sri Lanka. PCB has submitted the draft Champions Trophy schedule to the ICC under which all India’s matches, semi-finals and final will be played in Lahore. The match between India and Pakistan will take place on March 1. It remains to be seen whether the Indian government will send the team there or not.
