New Delhi. Electric vehicle company EMotorad, funded by cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni, has launched the T-Rex Pro electric bike in India. The company claims that this electric bike is quite technologically advanced. The company is also building the world’s largest gigafactory for electric bicycles in India. T-Rex Pro is the first electric bike with fully integrated handlebars, LED lights, indicators, flash function, horn and LCD display.

The company has kept the price of this electric bike at Rs 52,999 (ex-showroom). This electric bike has many features that make it different from others.

Equipped with advanced features
Speed, range, battery life, modes and lots of user-friendly information are available in real time on the LCD display. This electric bike is available in many colors. This electric bike is available in a total of three colors including Deep Purple, Spring Green and Ocean Blue. All variants use a mother-of-pearl finish that begins to glow as soon as light hits it.

Lifetime guarantee on the frame
The T-Rex Pro bike is based on a strong aluminum alloy frame. The company offers a lifetime warranty on its frame. Customers can buy it in two different wheel sizes (27.5 inches and 29 inches). According to the company, the 27.5-inch wheel model is suitable for quick acceleration, short and fast riding. However, the 29-inch wheel version is better suited for more range and longer journeys.

Range, battery and charging time
The company has included a 7-speed Shimano Altus gearshift. This bike has a 13 Ah capacity lithium battery and a 250 watt rear hub electric motor. The company claims that this battery can provide a range of around 70 km with pedal assist. In addition, a range of 45 km is achieved using only the accelerator (without pressing the pedal).

It takes approximately 4 to 6 hours for the T-Rex Pro battery to fully charge. Switchable brake levers are also provided. This bike can carry a load of up to 110kg.
