New Delhi. The Pakistan Cricket Board is known for its strange decisions. Now, the Pakistan Cricket Board has taken another such step that is making headlines. The PCB announced the ODI and T20 squads for the tour of Zimbabwe and Australia on October 27. The name of the captain of the team selected for the tour was not revealed. According to the information, PCB will announce the name of the new ODI and T20 captain at the end of the day. Former captain Babar Azam, fast bowlers Shaheen Afridi and Naseem Shah were rested for the Zimbabwe tour.

PCB has selected a second division team for the limited-overs series against Zimbabwe. Wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan will not be a part of the T20 series. PCB said in a statement: “The selectors followed the rotation policy for the selected team. “The decision to give opportunities to local players has been taken, which is in line with the team’s strategy for the ICC Champions Trophy and beyond.”

Babar’s protest against Zimbabwe
Babar Azam’s record against Zimbabwe was excellent. So far, he has scored 459 runs in 9 ODI matches at an average of 114.75. He composed in this format for two centuries and two half centuries. Scored 232 runs in 6 T20 innings at an average of 38.66, which included three half-centuries.
