New Delhi. The Maruti Suzuki Alto has always been a very popular car among the customers in India. It is not only known for its affordable price but also for its reliable performance. If we look at the domestic market sales figures for September 2024, Maruti Suzuki Alto secured the 10th spot in the top 10 with 8,655 units sold.

Apart from that, this car has also achieved excellent results in exports. Last month, a total of 442 units were exported, representing an annual growth of 927.91 percent, while in September 2023 there were only 43 units.

CNG option with petrol
Now if we talk about the powertrain, the Maruti Alto K10 comes with a 1.0 liter petrol engine that produces 67 bhp of power and 89 Nm of torque. This engine is equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission and a 5-speed automatic transmission. Additionally, the car is also available with a CNG option that produces 57 PS of power and 82 Nm of torque.

Also excellent in terms of mileage
In terms of mileage, the company claims a mileage of 24.39 km/l in the manual variant, 24.90 km/l in the automatic variant and 33.85 km/kg in the CNG variant. Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 is currently available in four variants.

Better features at a cheaper price too
As for the interior of the car, it features a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. In addition, facilities such as a digital instrument cluster, steering wheel mounted controls and power adjustable ORVMs have also been provided.

In terms of safety, it comes with dual airbags, ABS technology and rear parking sensors. This car competes with Renault Kwid and Maruti’s own S-Presso. The starting price ex-showroom for the Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 is Rs 3.99 lakh, while the top variant is Rs 5.96 lakh.
